The company is developing a suitcase that employs Bluetooth technology, computer vision, robotics, and sensors in order to have your luggage not only follow you, but avoid obstacles as well.

This new robotic suitcase will not only eliminate the need to drag heavy bags through airports, parking lots, and hotels, but is also 100% hands-free and even charges on the go. The luggage will be outfitted with an anti–theft alarm and location technology, enabling travelers to use their smartphone to track the location and weight of their luggage, no matter where it is. Just think, you’ll never have to worry about lost luggage or surprise overweight fees again. As if this suitcase couldn’t get any better, you can also charge your mobile device from it!

Few other details about this cutting-edge piece of luggage have been announced and an official release date has not yet been set; but it’s clear a luggage revolution may soon be upon us.
