A new 700-room hotel is coming to Disneyland in 2021 – the first new hotel in almost two decades. The new hotel is currently being referred to as 1401 Disneyland Drive and will break ground in 2018. 1401 Disneyland Drive plans to be a AAA four-diamond level hotel, which will offer guests advantages like exclusive views of Disneyland’s fireworks show, as well as early and late admission to the theme park. The hotel will feature a “themed environment,” along with a rooftop restaurant and bar. Disney announced last year that it will be investing $1 billion over the next decade to improve and expand the park; however, the park has announced it will spend at least $2 billion in upgrades.
