As part of Alitalia’s re-branding initiative and to better align themselves with their majority stakeholder, Etihad Airways, the carrier has revealed new fashion-forward uniforms for crew, ground personnel, and all personnel at customer touch points. Milan-based haute couturier designer, Ettore Bilotta, designed the new uniforms with the aim of creating a stylish collection that would represent Italian excellence around the world and capture the spirt of Alitalia today, as the carrier continues on a journey of renewal and growth.
The tailor-made uniforms are also meant to embrace the airline’s new “Made in Italy” campaign. The collection features fabrics, silks, and leather from regions all over Italy, including Tuscany, Como, Puglia, Naples and the Marche region. Starting this month, the new uniforms will be gradually introduced across the entire network.
