Seabourn recently announced it will be debuting a new level of luxury cruising with the release of its new ship, the Encore. The Encore will offer elegant, contemporary spaces designed by noted hospitality designer Adam Tihany, including an airy main dining room and a version of the club-like social hub called Seabourn Square found on other Seabourn ships. Other upscale touches will include a restaurant designed by three-star Michelin chef Thomas Keller, as well as a sushi eatery. Billed as one of the most luxurious cruise vessels of the modern era, the Encore will be similar to the three Odyssey Class ships that Seabourn has rolled out in 2009, only bigger. At 40,350 tons, the Encore will be about 26% larger than its siblings, thanks to an entirely redesigned deck and expanded public areas.
