Tourist demand has spoken, and the Seychelles will be debuting a new international airport in three to four yearsโ time. The Seychelles Foreign Affairs and Transport Minister Joel Morgan signed an agreement with Abu Dhabi Airports Company, following more than three years of discussion between the two entities. Still, the project is more than a year or so away from breaking ground. The new terminal is expected to be situated to the north of the existing airport and cost an estimated $150 million, while the existing terminal will be converted for various other uses, including cargo and private aviation.
