Last month, Norwegian Cruise Line announced an upgrade to their Latitudes Rewards program in order to boost traveler benefits. Among the new additions is the creation of 2 new tiers for frequent travelers. Platinum Plus will apply to guests who have earned more than 175 points, while Ambassador will be awarded for guests who earn a minimum of 700 points. Points are earned based on the number of nights spent with NCL; 1 night onboard equates to 1 loyalty point. Guests that stay in a suite or in the Haven earn an additional point per night. The benefits also include a complimentary dinner with the shipโs officers. For the remaining tiers, NCL has also upgraded its reward program. Every Latitudes Rewards member will be welcomed with a bottle of complimentary sparkling wine, while Silver and Gold members will receive discounted shore excursions.
