Iceland in the summer is on the list of many Canadian adventure seekers this year. To meet increasing demand to visit this Nordic destination, Air Canada is extending its international network to offer direct flights from Canada to Iceland beginning this summer. The service will operate four and three times weekly from the carrier’s Toronto and Montreal hubs, respectively.
The first of the new non-stop flights will officially kick off in June 2017, with a 136-seat A319 aircraft operated by Air Canada Rouge. The plane features 124 economy seats and 12 premium economy seats, which are similar to domestic first class within the US or domestic business class within Canada.
