Last week, Emirates announced that it will begin reducing flights to the US citing a decrease in passenger demand due to President Trump’s proposed travel ban and restrictive electronics ban. Beginning in May, flights to Fort Lauderdale and Orlando will go from daily to five times a week, while in June and July, flights to Boston, Seattle, and Los Angeles will go from twice-daily to daily. Emirates has stated that it could reinstate flights in the future depending on future US travel policies.
