Typically, one would not think of a sumptuous culinary experience as a part of the journey, but now that is a thing of the past! In December, chefs from Noma and London’s Ledbury built the world’s highest-altitude pop-up restaurant at Mount Everest Base Camp in Nepal. Groups travel by helicopter and get to see the wondrous views of Nepal while en route to dine. As of summer 2018, the trips will cost approximately $105,000 per person.
