Delta Air Lines (DL) has made updates to its iPhone app that will automatically check passengers in for their flights. This new feature will issue a boarding pass that will be visible within the app 24 hours before departure.  As in the past, iPhone users have the option to place this boarding pass in the phones “wallet” app for easy retrieval at TSA checkpoints and at the gate. Currently, this feature is only available for passengers who have downloaded the most recent version from the app store.

This feature is not yet available for Android devices.
