Beginning in 2018, Silversea Cruises will begin offering high-end land tours as pre- and post-cruise options. The line’s luxe “Couture Collection” will feature travel via Gulfstream jets in and out of Antarctica, private helicopter service in Mongolia, and vintage rail in India. January 2, 2018 will mark the first departure of this kind called the “White Desert & South Pole” excursion that offers flights in and out of Antarctica on a business jet, along with a stay at Whichaway Camp.
Another stand-out excursion in the collection is the “Revealing the Legends of Fire and Ice,” a five-day trip in Iceland including mountain biking, kayaking, lunch atop a glacier-capped volcano, and passage through a man-made ice tunnel. โNamibia & Rovos Railโ is a six-day getaway that includes a stay at the Little Kulala Camp in the Kulala Wilderness Reserve, an exciting flight-seeing excursion, a hot-air balloon trip, and a journey from Pretoria to Cape Town via the Rovos Rail. Departures for this experience begin January 8, 2018.
The Couture Collection itineraries are crafted for the seasoned luxury traveler who is always looking to discover the far corners of the world where nature can still be admired in its untouched glory.
