Joining Azamara Quest and Azamara Journey in March 2018 will be Azamara’s newest ship, Pursuit. The new ship will increase the brand’s destination offerings by 40% and will add 61 more destinations. Noteworthy destinations include Agadir, Morocco; Chilean Fjords; Cruising Beagle Channel; Fowey, United Kingdom; and Lima, Peru.

Travelers sailing through South America will enjoy docking in Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro and traversing through the scenic channels of the Fjord of Chile and Ushuaia, Argentina. Additionally, guests can expect holiday stops in Rio de Janeiro for New Year’s Eve 2018 and for Carnival in 2019.

In Europe, Azamara will be adding new ports that larger ships are unable to visit. Noteworthy experiences include Reykjavik, Iceland’s “Inside the Volcano” experience where guests will be taken on an elevator into the magma chamber of a dormant volcano. In Nauplion, Greece, guests will have the opportunity to visit the Monastery of St. John, built on the side of a rock face around 1167, followed by a complimentary AzAmazing Evening in Rhodes, Greece, where they’ll enjoy an exclusive performance of the ancient Greek drama, Antigone by Sophocles at Tafros Theater.
