Emirates (EK) has announced daily non-stop service between Dubai (DXB) and Edinburgh, Scotland (EDI) beginning October 1. This announcement comes at an opportune time for passengers based in the Scottish capital, after Etihad announced it would be discontinuing its own service from Edinburgh. The new Emirates flights will depart Dubai at 9:55 AM local time and arrive to Edinburgh at 2:50 PM; return flights will depart EDI at 8:15 PM and arrive to DXB at 6:40 AM local time the following morning. All flights will use a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft will offer eight first class suites, 42 business class seats, and 304 spaces in economy class.
