Through their Pacific Joint Business International Network, Japan Airlines and American Airlines recently announced nonstop service between Seattle (SEA) and Tokyo’s Narita International Airport (NRT). Seattle is the fifth largest US city in terms of travel demand from Japan behind Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, and Las Vegas.

Service for this new route begins in March 2019. Both business and leisure travelers from Seattle will have more options to fly to not only Tokyo but also to connect to other cities in Asia with the new route. Time to start planning your spring trips to Japan!
