United Airlines (UA) recently opened its fifth Polaris lounge at Los Angeles International Airport in Terminal 7, between Gates 73 & 75A. Polaris lounges are now available to passengers ticketed in Polaris business class in Chicago, San Francisco, Newark, Houston & Los Angeles. The Los Angeles version is designed with a distinct Southern California flare and features artwork by LA-based artists. It faces west to allow visitors to view the iconic Southern California sunsets. Polaris business class passengers receive a complete dinner, served in-lounge, to allow for a maximum amount of sleep time in-flight. The LA Polaris lounge features 140 seats, including private daybeds outfitted in Saks Fifth Avenue bedding, as well as shower suites with Cowshed Spa products.
