Who knew that switching out a free snack on morning flights would cause such a stir? United Airlines (UA) learned that the hard way last year, when they replaced the popular Dutch wafer cookie, Stroopwafels, with plain old maple wafers.

The social media backlash was huge by snack standards, and the good news for UA passengers is – it worked! United has happily brought back Stroopwafels on flights departing before 9:45 AM, and all is once again right with the world!
